I'm Lee, the head coach and owner at Tribe Oxford. I hold a BSc (Hons) in Nutrition, and I believe that solid nutrition principles which are grounded in well-evidenced science should trump pseudoscience every day of the week.
There have been times in my life where I have struggled with self-confidence, which affected my mental health. I was even too stubborn to seek out the help I needed from coaches and mentors. These times were difficult, but they taught me the importance and value of a healthy body. I soon learned that a great coach can have a genuinely life-changing impact on your wellbeing. I used exercise to push myself and to improve my confidence, and became a coach so that I could help others.
Over the years, I've worked with many clients who have struggled with self-confidence and wellbeing because they needed support with their physical training. They fell victim to the same problems as we've all faced at one time or another; they're short on time, they've looked for quick fixes, they lacked direction and accountability. All of which made them feel like they were spinning their wheels and getting nowhere.
That's when Tribe Oxford was born.
